It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad Miniature

Just found the following info posted and thought it worth passing along to this group. I didn't see the miniature at Hollywood History Museum when I was in L.A. to see MAD WORLD at the Cinerama Dome but I do recall seeing it when I visited Linwood Dunn at Film Effects of Hollywood back in the early '70s and the model is most impressive. If anyone from SMA.com gets over there be sure to give us a report and perhaps even post a photo or two. "For all you MAD WORLD fans out there in the L.A. area: you should check out the Hollywood History Museum on Highland Ave. near Hollywood Blvd. They're displaying the original model of the condemned building used at the end of the picture, with the fire escape filled with models of the characters as well as the fire engine ladder. It's on the top floor of the museum near the freight elevator with no identification on it, but fans of the movie won't need any." (Oh, by the way, that museum also has one of the Robo2 stop motion puppets from ROBOCOP 2 around, I saw it in their front window. Another reason to visit the place)

Maybe if someone visits they can take some closeup photos and post here?
