Mayan Temples WIP

Hi All Well I finally decided to do a short film and do it in 1/6, It's going to be about Indiana Jones. I did a custom figure and a friend of mine did a poster for me pic attached. I decided to start on some small temples first these will be used for a fly over shot and also when the figures are looking down at them from the top of a valley. The temples have been made from foam, balsa wood and cork, they have been covered in woodglue so when the plaster mox gets added the cork won't absorb the water that is in teh mix. I have added the stone road by using railway stone cardboard, I have to add a few extra things then the plaster and painting will be done then the jungle will be added after that. So Enjoy and all comments are welcomed. Ron

Your film will probably turn out better than the last Indiana Jones movie. Uh, that was supposed to be a complement!

Hi All grecodan - Cheers mate I'm just hoping that it will turn out :D I_make_cartoons - Thanks heaps and I wasn't even thinking about festivals or anything like that to be honest. Ron

hahah, it's a good start, but making a film with someone else's franchise is a bit limiting because you can't do anything with it. You won't be able to show it at festivals, unless it's a comedy-parody.

But, since you're not looking to enter into any festivals -- none of that matters; which is probably better because how could you do an Indy movie without a John Williams score. The miniature set as well as the stone pillar for the idol look great.

Now you have to come up with some suitable backgrounds for it!

That's a skillfully made diorama. Now put it on some good ball bearings and you can make a circling overview.
