Grave Yard test set (WIP)
Hi Started working on this project last week haven't done this stuff in a while it's part of a set for a puppet film Idea and Thought I would post it to see what You Guys thought of it
Making the grave stones mould

Nice sculpts on the headstones, especially the angled one on the left. I like the moss, too.
The paint looks a little shiny. Maybe a little matte spray to dull them a bit, make them look older?
I can easily see this with a spooky grey sky in the background.

I was going to shade and matte them loads but MY characters are quiet early HB-ish style and a little french comic influence too so I left them flat for that cartoon look

I was thinking more about unwanted light reflecting off them, making them look kind of plastic instead of like stone. The color and texture are great.
I like the beginnings of the character. Is he a skeleton?

That would be because I used a small compact with no manual settings and the flash was unwanted the final stuff will use a DSLR or my bridge camera with full manual contrlos.
yep he is the grim reaper, got a cool Idea for him to have a tricked out chopper to ride on, may do the others and have the 4 horsemen but see how time and the project goes
