Cobblestone

Does anybody know how to make a cobblestone road for a stop motion short? I cant think of an easy way to make it. (y idea of a hard way: take hundreds of small clay pieces and build it.) Here is a link to a short film in which they made cobblestone, and they dont say how: http://blog.machinefilm.com/?p=723 Thanks

What i would do is make the inverse of the road out of clay, and build a clay wall around it. Then fill it with plaster and let it dry. A good tip would be while the plaster is still wet, put in a layer of hessian/burlap which will strenghthen it greatly. I did a post on my blog of something similar rescently: http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2009/06/making-cobbled-path-vlog.html Hope this helps. Marnik www.morilyon.blogspot.com
