House and garden set

Okay, so while I made the set I followed the process on my blog, here are the posts in order: (ignore the bit about the goalposts in post #1) http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/hey-guys-so-im-still-working-on-ship.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/updates.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/progress-on-houses.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/windows-roof.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/house-ready-to-paint.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/house-updates.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/house-updates.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/started-painting-roof-and-door-numbers.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/okay-first-off-here-are-characters-that.html http://morilyon.blogspot.com/2008/08/finished-setyeah.html Any questions? Good set Fish! So you're going for a 2D look? I would keep any other sets the same style (that is if you're going to make anymore) so nothing will seem out of place. I like the sky background, the moon light could do with being mulled down a bit, and like Kramer said, a blue highlight to give it a better glow would definately enhance it. Had a look at the animation tutorials too. Great start, but if I was a beginner I might not appreciate the jumping around and puns. Its fun, but making it a bit more instructive could help. Looking foward to more progress on the film.

Hi nofby, thanks for the reply. I know what you mean and what you are actually thinking when talking about the tutorials... THERE S**T (s'cuse my language) So I'm taking the lot and junking them, and maybe occasionally making tutorials but making them much more informative and interesting. ;-) Fish

Lol, Fish don't be hard on yourself! Theres never no room for improvement! I think they're fine, put if you want to take them down, its your call. Leave them up for a couple of weeks and see what responses you get.

Oops - too late, I deleted them yesterday!!:D Never mind, eh, I was going to delete them anyway, but next time I make a tutorial I will be sure to plan it out more and be more informative. Hows your film going Nofby? Fish P.S. we plan to start filming the animation on that set very soon, and I will follow the progress on my blog: www.morilyon.blogspot.com
