A White World

I want to try to make a set that has a white floor and white walls. I'd probably use wood to make the base and walls, but I'm wondering about the paint. What kind of paint would I use to create a semi-gloss finish that wouldn't get messed up by the clay(oil spots being left behind, color gets absorbed into the paint, ect.). Basically I want to be able to scrape or remove any color and smudges that get onto the surface. Brand names would be appreciated. Thanks.

An exterior semi-gloss paint should do it. Possibly even a satin washable paint would manage. Enamels are tougher than water based acrylics if they are going to get a lot of scraping, but by cleaning with a soft cloth and solvent a premium acrylic would probably hold up. Try Dulux, or any well-known premium paint.
