Blue Screen Sets

Hey! I was just wondering what you thought about using a Bluescreen or Greenscreen instead of a set. I know it's lazy, but if you're short on cash, would you think about using this method?

It depends on what you are trying to do. I use blue or green screens all the time. Sometimes the shot works out quickly and easily (often a close-up) whereas sometimes the time taken in making the matt look good is not worth it and you should have just made a set. I find I need to spend some time in getting the lighting just right and matched to the background image. Lots of test shots are needed. Antony
