Floor of a bedroom???
I hope someone checks this!
I need to do a floor of a bedroom for my upcoming short...and I'm pretty much clueless...
I'm talking about the design of the floor. I don't want it to be a flat color. I was looking for a 'carpet' effect...any ideas how that can be done?
I have a drilled cardboard as the floor, and I was planning to put a paper with the designed floor on it...but any other materials are accepted as well!
Thanx a lot for any ideas!

I use a fabric with a pile, like velvet. You can make small cuts in the fabric over the tiedown holes drilled in the floor underneath, and they don't show. Sometimes you can find velvet printed with patterns.

Some upholstery fabrics also have a nice pile and they come in lots of patterns. Whichever you choose, get some sort of static guard spray, velvet especially gets very staticy and will collect any lint, pet hair, etc that might be floating around or gets brushed off your clothes.

Ok Thanks a lot....Any other suggestions are welcomed, because I haven't seen this topic anywhere else, so it's good to have a lot of ways to do it...
I'm using a part of an old T-shirt...let's see how it goes!
