Simple beginner house

Just wondering if there is such thing as a simple novice house that a newbie at set making could make. Thanks for your time Matt

Stop motion is only about how it loooks on film, there isn't really such thing as novice or advanced--only cheap and expensive. I found the best way to make cheap fast sets, is to use simple materials--foamcore, gator board whatever. A cheap trick I saw once, was to simply take photos and blow them up on your computer, then print out the pieces you need and glue them in place--say, wallpaper, or bricks or such. lay out the photos on board, and add texture or dimension as you see fit. You'd be surprised how well this can read if done carefully.
