That sounds like the kind of thing that's easier to do with computer animation or drawn animation. But if I absolutely had to do it in stop motion, I would first make the logo shape in cotton wool, then pull it apart and down into a column of smoke, a tiny bit each frame, working backwards. (That's much easier than trying to form it into a perfect logo frame by frame.) It would be difficult to make it smooth and flowing. It might need to be laid flat on a black background, shot separately, then superimposed over the shot of the bowl. That way it wouldn't need to be supported in the air above the bowl, and also you could make it see-through so it didn't look too solid when you composited it together. Good luck.

There is an old prehistorical method from old FX. Goes like this: Place a piese of normal glass infront of your lens, and tilt it downwards 45degree. Have a little table infront/under your lens. Whatever you put on that table will reflect in that glass and give half-transparant immege which will "lay" on top of the immege from the modell which you are shooting. Surfise of that table must be covered with black velvet. On that table you can place your clouds made of cotton. lighted with separat light-sorce. You can form then the way you like. It will give you qwite perfect immege of half-transparant smoke.

Forgot one thing: that glass have to be shaded from parasite-light. In simple words: the light should not tuch the glass-surfice.

"i will include the name of PJOURE too." A very nice gesture... but you might want to check the spelling before you do...... :P
